The Takalam application ("the Application") is published by Mohamed-Zakaria Farach ("we"), an independent publisher. This policy, established in accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, describes how we process your personal data.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email address, password (encrypted).
• Learning & game data: progress, streaks, XP, energy, flashcards, saved words, challenges, season / battle pass.
• Usage (Mixpanel): pseudonymized usage events and statistics.
• Technical (Sentry): device model, operating system, language, technical identifiers, crash reports.
• Subscription (RevenueCat): subscription status, purchase receipt (no banking data).

2. Purposes and legal basis

Providing the service and managing the account, tracking progress → performance of the contract.

Measuring and improving usage, detecting bugs, ensuring security → legitimate interest.

Processing subscriptions → performance of the contract.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data.

Service providers: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Apple / Google (payments), Mixpanel (statistics), Sentry (crashes).

4. Transfers outside the EU

Some data may be processed outside the European Union (notably in the United States). Such transfers are carried out in compliance with the GDPR, in particular on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention period

• Account & learning data: until account deletion (then 30 days).
